DLA Piper strengthens Corporate and Tax capabilities in Finland

DLA Piper has appointed Antti Paloniemi as Head of Tax in Helsinki, Finland, effective from 24 August 2020. Antti has significant experience in advising clients on a broad range of tax matters. Before joining DLA Piper, he has worked for tax authorities, Big4 consulting firms and an international law firm. Antti advises clients on M&A taxation, domestic and international corporate income taxation, buy and sell side tax due diligence, W&I matters, as well as on structuring assignments. His work covers also tax controversy matters, assistance with tax audits and advance ruling processes.

Furthermore, Jonathan Andersin has been appointed as Counsel in the Corporate team in Helsinki, effective from 28 September 2020. Jonathan joins the firm from another law firm. He advises clients on corporate and M&A deals including private equity deals, debt financing transactions and fund formation. Jonathan is experienced also in the field of venture capital having worked with numerous Finnish start-up and growth companies as well as both domestic and foreign VC investors.
