Matti Ylä-Mononen is an experienced Corporate / M&A lawyer and people leader with more than 25 years' experience on advising Finnish and international clients on a broad variety of transactions, strategic projects and general corporate and commercial work including private and public M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital investments, MBO's, MIPs´, financing, capital markets, and commercial agreements.

Matti has acquired insight in several business sectors such as Technology, Food and Retail, Financial Services, Energy, Infrastructure, and Media.

During his career Matti has served in various law firm leadership positions locally and internationally, most recently (2017-2022) as the Managing Partner in DLA Piper Finland and as a member of the Nordic Management Group and the Board of DLA Piper in the Nordics.

Matti has been acknowledged as one of the top M&A and capital markets experts in Finland in all leading international legal directories.
