DLA Piper advises MB Funds on investment in Pyroll Packaging

We have advised MB Funds on its investment in Pyroll Packaging, the leading Finnish provider of sustainable packaging solutions, in a transaction signed on 5 May 2021. This transaction fosters Pyroll Packagings growth in Finland and supports the international expansion of the business.

Pyroll Packaging is the leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions for food industry and retail sector in Finland. Pyroll manufactures high-quality cardboard, paper, plastic and aluminium packaging at nine manufacturing sites in Finland. Established in 1973 Pyroll Packaging employs today nearly 300 packaging industry professionals with net sales of 60m€ in 2020.

The closing of the transaction is expected during the summer 2021 after competition authority’s approval.
