Hessu Kosonen

Hessu practices primarily in the area of restructuring and insolvency. He advises in insolvency and corporate restructuring assignments and assists in the administration of bankruptcy estates. Hessu advises lenders, debtors and creditors on insolvency-related issues. 

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Hessu worked as a senior bankruptcy lawyer at the Office of Bankruptcy Ombudsman. As the senior bankruptcy lawyer, he was both supervising and advising administration of bankruptcy estates and restructuring proceedings. Hessu has also gained experience from other Finnish law firms where he worked with various dispute resolution cases in addition to restructuring and insolvency assignments.  

Hessu has got his law degrees from the University of Eastern Finland. He has also studied law at the University of Luxembourg.
