Jonathan Andersin promoted to partnership of DLA Piper in Finland

DLA Piper announces that Jonathan Andersin from the firm’s Corporate practice in Helsinki, Finland has been promoted to Partner, effective from 1 May 2023. Jonathan focuses on venture capital investments.

Jonathan has assisted numerous Finnish startups and growth companies as well as domestic and foreign venture capital investors in financing rounds. In addition to venture capital, Jonathan also advises on a broad range of other corporate and M&A transactions, including private equity deals, debt financing transactions and fund formation, and on general corporate law matters. Jonathan is a sought-after trainer on topics related to venture capital investments and startups and speaks regularly at various trainings as well as events such as Slush. In January 2022, Jonathan was included in Venture Capital Journal’s (VCJ) annual list of 40 Rising Stars under the age of 40 in the venture capital industry, which recognizes up-and-coming professionals in the VC community. Jonathan is the author of the first Finnish handbook on VC investments (2021).
