Finnish and Swedish public procurement, the war in Ukraine and the countries' applications for and Finland's admission to NATO
Tuija Kaijalainen and Charlotte Brunlid at DLA Piper have contributed to an article related to the Finnish and Swedish public procurement legislation in a special edition of the Public Procurement Law Review on defense procurement in Europe in light of the war in Ukraine. The volume comprised articles by procurement experts from Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, the UK, and the United States.
Kaijalainen and Brunlid discuss whether changes have been made to the procurement legislation in Finland and Sweden after February 2022 and what kind of trends may be seen in the defense procurement.
