DLA Piper strengthens Real Estate team in Finland

DLA Piper has appointed Timo Valkama as counsel effective from 1 June 2021, strengthening the firm’s growing Real Estate practice in Finland. 

Timo joins DLA Piper from FIM where he worked as Head of Transactions for real estate funds and joint venture investments. In addition to investments and asset management, Timo has previously worked for law firms and major construction companies as legal counsel, giving him a good understanding on our clients’ needs. Timo’s skills and his view on the real estate market strengthen the firm’s already extensive and diverse experience in real estate transactions, cross border investments, and real estate development and construction.
