DLA Piper advises VVT Property Fund II Ky in acquisition of logistics center to be built in Turku, Finland

DLA Piper has advised VVT Property Fund II Ky in connection with its acquisition of a modern logistics center to be built in the vicinity of the Turku Ring Road from SRV. The target is fully leased to Warasto Finland, which specializes in logistics services.

The new building is around 14,000 square meters in area. The building will also have an initial temperature control of approximately 2,200 square meters for food logistics. Construction of the logistics center will begin in November 2021 and will be completed in February 2023.

Sustainable energy solutions have been taken into account in the design of the new building. The site will be heated with geothermal energy and a reservation will be made in the building for a photovoltaic system.
