DLA Piper advises Helsingin Kulttuurihub Oy on purchase of Helsinki House of Culture

We have advised Helsingin Kulttuurihub Oy on the purchase of the iconic Helsinki House of Culture (Kulttuuritalo) located in Alppila, Helsinki, from Senate Properties.

The purchased entity includes the House of Culture designed by Alvar Aalto and known as a versatile concert and congress space, as well as the adjacent building of home economics teacher training institute. Both buildings are protected. Helsingin Kulttuurihub Oy's goal is to ensure that the House of Culture continues to provide meaningful encounters and events.
