DLA Piper tops Mergermarket 2022 M&A league tables
Mergermarket has published annual statistics on legal advisors on M&A transactions. In Finland, DLA Piper was ranked #3 legal advisor by deal count in 2022 with 32 deals.
In the Nordics, DLA Piper was involved in 266 deals in 2022. For the sixth consecutive year, we earned the top legal advisor ranking in the Nordics for overall M&A deal volume, according to Mergermarket 2022 league tables. Globally, DLA Piper achieved the number one ranking for overall deal volume for the 13th consecutive year in 2022, and in Europe, for the 10th consecutive year. Worldwide, we advised on 1,131 transactions in 2022, more than any other law firm.
Our 2022 M&A work highlights in Finland included advising HKScan in connection with the €90 million divestment of its Baltic business, subject to merger control clearances, as well as advising Digital 9 Infrastructure plc in the acquisition of Ficolo Oy and Volta Data Centres.
