DLA Piper has advised FinMeas Oy and its shareholders on the sale of the company to Sweden-based Nordtech Group. The transaction strengthens FinMeas’ ability to accelerate its technological growth as part of a Nordic ecosystem of software-driven companies.

FinMeas develops IoT and SaaS-based monitoring and data management solutions for mining, geotechnical engineering and infrastructure projects. Its systems enable real-time monitoring of critical structures, supporting safety, efficiency, and predictive maintenance in the mining and construction sector.

Nordtech Group is a growth-focused technology group that invests in leading, niche software companies. It provides long-term support across technology, business development, and leadership, operating a decentralized model that allows companies to retain autonomy while benefiting from the group’s collective expertise.

Through this transaction, FinMeas gains a strategic partner whose focus on technology and growth will support the company’s next development phase. The transaction opens new opportunities for enhancing FinMeas' services and strengthening its international presence.

“As part of a larger group, we will be able to invest more broadly across all areas of our business. We look forward to new development projects and to finding even more effective ways to create value for our customers,” says Sami Ylönen, CEO of FinMeas.

“It was a pleasure to support FinMeas and its shareholders in this important milestone. The transaction reflects the strength of the company’s technology and market position, and we’re proud to have played a role in enabling its next phase of growth as part of Nordtech Group,” says Ilkka Liljeroos, Partner at DLA Piper Finland.

The DLA Piper advisory team consisted of Ilkka Liljeroos, Sampsa Purojärvi, Ina Törrönen, Johanna Smalén, Tetti Kunnas, Antti Paloniemi, and Antti Pietinen.
