DLA Piper advises Digia on its internationalization and acquisition of Climber International

DLA Piper has advised Digia Plc, a Finland based software and service company, on its acquisition of Climber International AB, a Swedish company that provides consulting services and solutions for the development of data-driven business.

Digia will acquire the entire share capital of Climber International operating in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands. This is Digia's first acquisition abroad. The transaction is scheduled to be closed in January 2021.

The international team of lawyers was led by Helsinki based Partner Ilkka Liljeroos. Other key members of the team were Counsel Essi Lavikkala, Associates Henri Almgren and Anniina Ulvila based in Helsinki, Partners Mathias Berggren, Björn Rustare, Senior Associate Jesper Lindbom and Associate Sandra Ibrahim based in Stockholm, and Partner Jochem Beurskens and Associate Pien Lammers based in Amsterdam.
