Rasmus Ørsted Petersen is engaged in EU and Danish competition law as well as Foreign Direct Investments (FDI). 

Rasmus assists in the day-to-day legal services within competition law, including regarding abuse of dominant position, anti-competitive agreements, merger control, dawn raids as well as compliance and training. 

Furthermore, he provides advice within EU and administrative law and advises Danish companies in matters concerning general commercial law. 

Rasmus is a member of the executive committee of a Danish foundation awarding educational grants to young people (Etatsråd Nicolai Petersen og Hustru Anna, født Johansens Legat).

  • Rasmus acted on the creation of Danish bus company Vikingbus, where he assisted in ensuring clearance from the competition authorities.   
  • Rasmus acted on the sale of Martin Bencher (Scandinavia) A/S to Mærsk A/S. The sale was to be notified as a merger in seven different jurisdictions. 
  • Rasmus is acting for HUGO BOSS in a matter regarding parallel distribution, which has been pending before the Danish Competition Council, the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal and the Danish Maritime and Commercial High Court.
