Jacob provides advice especially to private equity clients that regularly sell and purchase businesses, and he also assists business owners wishing to sell their businesses.  

He provides ad-hoc advice on all legal aspects and throughout the sale or purchase process. Moreover, Jacob provides advice to businesses on an ongoing basis, particularly on incentive programmes, shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts. 

He also provides general advice on company law, catering especially to clients within the industrial and technology sectors.

  • Jacob provided trusted advice to Xero Limited, a leading global provider of software solutions, in connection with its acquisition of Planday A/S, a workforce management platform with more than 350,000 employee users across Europe and the UK.  
  • Jacob acted for Japanese technology group NEC Corporation on its acquisition of KMD, which is Denmark’s largest provider of IT to the public sector. 
  • Jacob acted for Danish private equity fund Dansk Ejerkapital on its investment in Danish veterinary company Vetgruppen A/S and the subsequent business transfer to Axcel.
